Our college is committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of its students by providing immediate medical assistance during emergencies. Our campus has first aid services readily available for minor injuries or health issues, managed by trained personnel who respond swiftly to any urgent situations. For cases that require further medical attention, we offer an on-call doctor facility, led by Dr. S.B. Mukherjee, a trusted physician who provides consultation and assistance for students as needed. Additionally, the college has established a partnership with Sterling Nursing Home to address any advanced medical needs, enabling smooth and prompt referrals if students require specialised care.
To promote a culture of health and wellness, the college organises regular health checkups, providing students with an opportunity to monitor and maintain their physical well-being. These initiatives are conducted with the collaborative efforts of our NSS committee and the Food and Nutrition Department, who also lead health awareness campaigns. Through these programs, students gain valuable insights into preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and nutritional practices that contribute to overall well-being.
These efforts reflect our dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment on campus where the health of each student is prioritized. By offering essential medical services and fostering awareness, we aim to equip our students with the resources and knowledge needed to maintain their health, enabling them to focus on their academic and personal growth.
