The college runs one unit of National Service Scheme – Unit l, sponsored by the University of Calcutta. Students are encouraged to take part in NSS activities. The scheme includes participation in First Aid Training, drive against illiteracy, fighting against communalism and provincialism, creating environmental awareness etc.
