Details Topology of College Network (About 3 Connection)
Connection 1This connection goes directly to the Computer Science lab through a fiber wire and is connected to a Wi-Fi router using an Optical Network Unit (ONU). In the Computer Science lab, the uplink from Alliance connects to the Wi-Fi router, distributing the downlink to 30 computers through unmanaged switches via CAT 6 cables. Additionally, one link from the switch connects to the Nutrition lab’s Wi-Fi router, where a single machine is connected via Wi-Fi.
Connection 2The next connection goes to the Gyandhara Library. The uplink connection is connected to a Wi-Fi router. An unmanaged switch connected to this router enables 12 computers to operate in the Gyandhara Library via CAT6 cables. Another router connected to the switch operates six computers. From the Gyandhara Library router, a fiber link connects to the Central Library, located in the main building of Maharaja Manindra Chandra College, where two computers are connected. Furthermore, another connection from the Gyandhara Library router goes to the Psychology lab via a twisted pair cable, connecting a single computer. Moreover, another connection from the Gyandhara Library connects to a router located on top of SB6. This SB6 router connects three additional computers: SB7, Geography Lab, and Geography Classroom.
Connection 3The final Alliance connection goes to the MKC office, where it is connected using an ONU to a router. From the MKC office router, 12 computers are connected via CAT6 cables. A connection through optical fiber goes from the MKC office router to the Principal’s office on the first floor of the main building of Maharaja Manindra Chandra College, where a single computer and one router are connected via this link. An additional router cascades from the principal’s office to the 1st floor main building corridor.
