The college conducts Yoga classes on a regular basis to foster a sense of physical and mental pride and joy in maintaining a healthy mind in a healthy body. The college SELF DEFENCE cell was established in 2016 with the following objectives in mind.

Self-Defense

  • To sensitize students to the need to protect oneself from physical and mental harm.
  • To build physical capability and enable students to face a progressively vulnerable social environment to empower women to gain control of the boundaries of their body.
  • To enable students to use techniques of self-defense not only in public but also in private spaces such as domestic sphere.
  • To help women make other stakeholder of society aware of the need to practice self defense
  • To sensitize society to respect other bodies and to combat sexism.

Yoga

  • To build physical confidence as well as mental strength in students.
  • To help them meditate and focus on mental hygiene.
  • To provide a holistic approach to education which combines academic excellence and mental fitness.

Gym

The institution offers fitness schedules for its students in its in-house gymnasium. A major revamping of the facility is under way. It will provide a multipurpose athletic facility for the students.
