- If Computer Science is selected as a generic subject then
- The candidate must have had Mathematics in Class 12 with minimum 30%.
- She must have passed in either Physics/ Statistics/ Computer Science.

- Minimum marks needed in Accountancy / Related Subject is 45% AND Minimum marks needed in Best of Four Subject is 50%.

- Minimum marks needed in Accountancy / Related Subject is 55%.
FOR SC/ST Categories:
The applicants need to meet either of the two criteria below:
- Minimum marks needed in Accountancy / Related Subject is 40%
- Minimum marks needed in Best of Four Subject is 40%.

You can apply if either of the two criteria below are met:
- Minimum of 50% in Best of Four Subjects AND Minimum of 45% in Bengali.
OR
- Minimum of 55% in Bengali.

- Minimum of 50% in Best of Four Subjects AND Minimum of 45% in Nutrition / Biology AND Pass in Chemistry [pass in theory (min. 24) & practical (min. 8)].
OR
- Minimum of 55% in Nutrition / Biology AND Pass in Chemistry [pass in theory (min. 24) & practical (min. 8)].
You cannot apply if you didn’t have Nutrition or Biology in your class 12th Exam.
You cannot apply if you didn’t have Chemistry in your class 12th Exam.

- Minimum of 55% in Geography.
You cannot apply if you didn’t have Geography in your class 12th Exam.

You can apply even if you didn’t have Sanskrit in your class 12th Exam.

You can apply if you meet any one of the three criteria below:

- Minimum of 55% in Sociology / Political Science / Psychology.
OR
- Minimum of 50% in Best of Four Subjects if you did not have Sociology / Political Science / Psychology in Class 12.
You can also apply if you did not have the above subjects.
COMMERCE students CANNOT apply for Sociology Honours
