The seminar library at each department with specialized resources is maintained to meet students’ academic needs, over and above the General Library and Gyandhara. Here’s how it may function for various departments:

  • Arts: Access to literature, history texts, and reference materials for subjects like English, History, Political Science and other subjects.
  • Science: A collection of reference books and journals in Food and Nutrition, Psychology, Geography along with laboratory manuals.
  • Computer Science: Books on programming, software development, and IT management, as well as access to digital resources.
  • Commerce: Resources focusing on Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics including case studies and financial journals.

Each department has its own section for its seminar library, ensuring that students can easily find materials relevant to their coursework and research.

The accession register is kept in departmental custody. Willing students put their signature in such register at the time of borrowing of any book and at the time of returning of it as well. HOD generally looks after the process of accession and maintenance of seminar library. Other departmental faculties assist as per their convenience.
